Body visualizer: see your height and size to scale

· 4 min read

Numbers like 163 cm or 6′ 2″ are hard to picture. A body visualizer draws you to scale so you can see what a height actually looks like — next to a partner, a celebrity, a door or an animal.

What a body visualizer shows

Each figure is drawn on one shared vertical scale, so a 10 cm difference looks exactly like 10 cm. You can enter heights in centimetres or in feet and inches, and the grid shows both.

Body proportions change with age: children are drawn with larger heads and shorter legs, while adults follow a standard 7.5-head proportion. For adults you can choose a slim, average or broad build.

2D chart or 3D view

The 2D height comparison chart is the most precise way to read a difference: every figure stands side by side against a measuring grid.

The 3D view turns the same figures into models you can rotate and zoom, so you can look from a child’s eye level or walk around the group. Heights are exact; only width and depth are based on average proportions.

Size comparison with objects and animals

A body visualizer is also a size comparison tool. Add doors, cars, trees or landmarks as tall as the Burj Khalifa, or create a custom object with any height and width, to see how big something really is next to a person.

Tips for an accurate picture

  • Measure your height without shoes, in the morning, against a wall.
  • Use the same unit for everyone, and remember that heights in feet are often rounded to the nearest inch.
  • Celebrity heights are commonly reported values and can differ by a centimetre or two between sources.

Try it

Open the 3D height comparison to see people, characters, animals and objects as rotatable models, or use the main chart to line up as many people as you like and share the result as a link or image.
